Spyder Trap is seeking an experienced Creative Designer to join our fast growing digital agency.

As a Creative Designer at Spyder Trap, you will work within our team of designers, writers and others to ensure the delivery of best-in-class creative products for our clients. The Creative Designer will also work with Account Executives, Project Managers, and Executive Management to make sure that each client's needs are being met and the creative goals are on track.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the creative direction needed for each project and meet those needs to ensure the best possible design is delivered
• Create interactive designs, wireframes, mood boards, site maps, presentation decks and storyboards/journey maps with minimal direction from the Creative Director or Design Lead
• Keep deadlines and meet client's expectations
• Always deliver beyond the client’s expectations

Required Skills and Abilities:

• An in-depth understanding of the best digital practices
• An in-depth understanding of the creative process
• Solid background in graphic design, especially for web/online/interactive media
• Broad knowledge of HTML, PHP and other web applications
• Thorough understanding of information architecture
• Expertise with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other programs
• Ability to provide a strong creative portfolio and discuss the merits of each project therein
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Experience:

• 1 – 3 years design experience in an agency setting
• Strong knowledge and proven experience with online marketing

Education:

• Bachelor's degree is required; degree in Interaction/Creative Design or related field a plus
