Required skills and experience:

• 2 - 5 years of professional writing experience in journalism, marketing or public relations
• Experience creating unique content for digital channels, such as blogs, professional Twitter profiles, Facebook pages, Pinterest, Instagram and mobile apps
• Experience with analytics and utilizing data to provide findable content
• Familiarity with SEO best practices for digital content
• Previous CMS experience, such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, and C5
• Strong organization and time management skills
• An insatiable attention to detail, grammar and consistency
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple on-going projects

Job duties will include:

• Draft content strategy plans across all online channels
• Provide a consistent voice throughout all content pieces published
• Draft and develop content while utilizing analytics across PPC ads, blog posts, product listings, email headlines and titles, and landing page headlines
• Work closely with SEO and Design teams throughout strategy and planning phases
• Highly organized, detail oriented work style

The content specialist will report directly to the search marketing manager.
