Business Analyst/Solutions Engineer
Spyder Trap, Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Analyst/Solutions Engineer to join our fast growing digital agency.

The ideal client-facing candidate will enjoy working as part of a team and pitching in where help is needed. This person will be a self-starter who needs little direction.
Required skills and experience:
- Two to five years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital marketing
- Requirements gathering and documentation
- Technology and usability recommendations
- Project planning
- Resource management
- Budgeting and estimation
- Project analysis
- Risk identification, analysis and mitigation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills as this position is client-facing
- Excellent knowledge of key elements of responsive websites, iPhone, iPad, Windows phone and Android application development, search and social media design and development
- General understanding of best practices involved with user-experience (UX) design, search engine marketing and optimization
- Familiarity with core concepts of common development methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, and Rapid Application Development)
- Understanding of MVC design pattern.
- Familiarity in integrating with external data providers (via APIs)
- Understanding of HTML5, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript and where they fit into the development of a digital solution.
- Knowledge of different types of CMS platforms including website management, e-Commerce, blogging, etc.
Job duties will include:
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance to the sales team and writing business proposals
- Collaborating with production teams to provide accurate estimation during pre-sales
- Working with clients to determine their business needs and to set the appropriate course of action or solution, linking the business objectives to technical capabilities
- Defining, analyzing and documenting requirements and communicating them to all stakeholders
- Analyzing business processes and writing system process specifications
- Gathering analytics and managing budgets in coordination with the project manager
