I am a Graphic Design graduate from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and I currently teach UX/UI there. Lastly, I work on a Experience Design Team for the Soap Factory’s Haunted Basement.

Tyler blog picWhere are you coming from?
I recently graduated the University of Minnesota-Duluth. I majored in Organizational Management and minored in Economics, Marketing, and Sustainability. I am originally from Lakeville Minnesota, and attended Lakeville South Highschool.

What brought you to ST?
I actually did a lot of research on Marketing Organizations in the metro area. Spyder Trap caught my interest through a variety of articles I read from the top 100 companies to a smaller article I read on it’s story from a one man shop to 50 employees. I thought it would be a good fit, as I am a more relaxed quiet person who likes a comfortable family style environment.

What are you hoping to accomplish at ST?
Coming out of college I want to learn as much as possible. I want to accept challenges, grow professionally and personally, help my fellow employees, and stretch myself into other roles here at Spyder Trap.

Where’s your favorite place to hang out in Twin Cities?
I like relaxing at home, fishing on the many lakes, playing sports at local parks, and going to sporting events of the big four sports teams.

I just finished my freshman year at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln but I was born and raised in Edina, MN so Im back for the summer.

What brought you to ST?
I wanted to work for a company that loved what they did and also had end results that showed that love and passion, and I thought those went hand and hand here. I also came here because as an intern I didn’t want to have the usual “coffee runner” internship and Spyder Trap gives me chances to be hands on with things and learn which is really what I want more than anything.

What are you hoping to accomplish at ST?
I am hoping to learn about marketing/business and have a better understanding of business from outside the classroom. I also hope that I was able to help Spyder Trap along the way.

Where’s your favorite place to hang out in Twin Cities?

Josh Fedie | Senior Client Strategist

josh fedieWhere are you coming from?
What started as musical ambitions lead to a career in marketing. I was a singer/songwriter working as a performer & studio musician in the early 2000’s. The father of my bassist owned an agency and was looking for someone to step into a business development role and approached me about my experience in sales. Marketing turned into more of a passion for me than music in very short order, and after working at a handful of small agencies I launched my own collaborative which I ran for 5 years prior to joining Spyder Trap. Branding & Identity were my first loves, but digital soon became a key focus of mine. I approached Spyder Trap with a desire to work for a digital firm with the capabilities to execute at a higher level and allow me to be apart of the incredible experiences technology has afforded marketers and brands.

What brought you to ST?
As my own interests in marketing evolved, I wanted to shift to a place that better mirrored my ambitions in the digital space. Spyder Trap offered the perfect mix of a growing firm full of talent that still had an incredible entrepreneurial spirit at it’s core.

What are you hoping to accomplish at ST?
I am looking to broaden my experience within the healthcare market, and excited to be working during an incredibly innovative and technological time in that industry. I am also hopeful to work with a few key brands that create products I am passionate about in the cycling, winter sports, automotive and music industries.

Where’s your favorite place to hang out in Twin Cities?
Most weekends you’ll find me in the Calhoun/Lakes area walking the dog or cycling

Favorite book, movie, beer/cocktail, or TV show?
Favorite Book: David Sedaris Naked

Favorite Drink: Scotch, Johnnie Walker

Favorite T.V. Show: Breaking Bad

Something cool about yourself
My hobbies include cycling (road and snow), Cross Country Skiing, Photography and Songwriting.
