1) Facebook Releases 15 Second Autoplay Video Ads

Autoplaying video ads are already prevalent on YouTube but they don’t have any length restrictions. To be In tune with micro video trends – like Instagram, Vine and Snapchat – Facebook has decided to limit video ads to only 15 seconds. To read more about the release go here.

2) Matt Cutts’ 30 Day No External Email Challenge

Keeping up with email can be a challenge. Putting out daily fires and answering ASAP messages may seem productive but Matt Cutts things differently. By imposing a 30 challenge to rid himself of a priority game. Matt says “when you answer an external email, you’re usually helping one person in private, as opposed to helping many people at once like with a video.” Would you try a challenge like this?

3) Mobile data generates more revenue than Voice

In the final quarter of 2013, mobile data eclipsed voice usage for US Carriers. This trend has been reflected in how mobile carriers are now structuring their pricing. Most will offer voice and text for free with a data plan.
