2) Leaked Pitch Deck Reveals Facebook’s Plans To Steal YouTube and TV Ad Dollars

A deck was recently leaked outlining Facebook’s goals surrounding video ads. The deck was sent to Preferred Marketing Developer partners and explained how best to sell Facebook video ads to their clients. The deck outlined how Facebook can offer superior reach and specific targeting. It’s interesting to see Facebook wade so deeply into the video ad space. Read more here.

Google’s been testing and optimizing ads within Knowledge Graph. If you are unaware, Knowledge Graph is the box populated with topic-based content that shows up to the right of the search query field. It’ll be interesting to see how this gets rolled out. Check out the post for more details.

The patent war continues! As you might already know,  the Supreme Court is soon to rule on whether specific types of software and code are, or aren’t legally patentable.
