Spyder Trap was one of nine finalists honored at Medtronic’s corporate campus on June 18th, 2012 for the Minnesota Supplier Showcase. This year’s event selected the nine emerging and innovative marketing companies from over 40 nominees in the Minneapolis area.
The event is sponsored by the Itasca Project that focuses on growing jobs and strengthening the local entrepreneur community by fostering relationships between small, emerging companies and large corporations.
The invite-only attendee list included executives and marketers from Medtronic, 3M, Target, Pentair, General Mills, US Bank and many others.
The event included a networking session as well as an eight-minute presentation by each of the finalists. I had the pleasure of giving Spyder Trap’s feature presentation and outlined how important the “Digital DNA” of our staff and culture are. Much of our success is driven from our passion and drive to ideate and create the highest quality of work for our clients across web, mobile, search, social and email.
The event was an amazing opportunity for President Mike Rynchek, Account Executive Jeff Nolan and me to meet and build relationships with the region’s top corporations. We walked away with a great amount of new contacts and the feeling that what Spyder Trap is doing is gaining more and more attention.
Congratulations to the other finalists, the Itasca Project and the Supplier Showcase committees for an outstanding event. Lastly, a huge thanks to the Spyder Trap team for putting excellence into every client and project.
