The American Diabetes Association (ADA) Gala is now only one day away, this Saturday, May 14th. The Spyder Trap team is proud to support the ADA as a marketing partner with roles in many different capacities.

Mike Rynchek, President of Spyder Trap, serving his second year as a Board Member for the American Diabetes Association and has made an exponential impact for the organization. Spearheading the Marketing Committee two years ago, it has become one of many unique models used to increase fundraising for the organization.
I have also been fortunate to be on the ADA Marketing Committee for the past year. My focus has been on considering what assets their organization has to work with and how we could incorporate online giving. Using a new unique model for the Gala this year, I have seen the large effect social media can have on online giving. Working closely on the ADA’s Gala microsite has been nothing short of rewarding.

Not only did this provide a refined search for registrants and online-giving, but it has also been great to see the organization explore new marketing platforms. Additionally, the microsite allows tracking and Google Analytics to be incorporated. These findings are beneficial to take them to the next level and learn where there is potential to grow.
Likewise with many other nonprofit organizations, marketing dollars can be scarce. Fortunately, through the creation of a microsite and utilization of social media, we were able to increase the fundraising impact with zero marketing dollars. The combination proved to be successful in raising funds and ticket sales for the upcoming Gala. We are very pleased with the results and excited for the potential in future campaigns!
