Front End Web Developer

Spyder Trap, Inc. is seeking an experienced front end web developer to join our fast growing digital agency and development team.

Required skills and experience:

  • 2 years experience or more
  • LAMP environment experience

  • CSS (bonus points for SASS and Bootstrap framework)
  • Client Side Scripting (jQuery, JavaScript)
  • Understanding of Linux environment, networking protocols

Interactive Creative Designer

As a Interactive Creative Designer you are:

  • Well-versed in Photoshop and creating all types of digital design from responsive web to mobile apps
  • Able to multitask and handle multiple clients and projects at a time
  • Someone who understands pixel perfect isn’t just a saying, it’s an absolute must
  • NOT a print designer

If you hit on all of these bullets then you are a perfect fit for Spyder Trap’s Creative Team. An Interactive Creative Designer works with the entire Creative Team to establish the overall creative conceptualization and stylistic design on interactive and creative projects. The ideal candidate should have a gift for original thinking and conception of digital designs, in addition to an expert’s understanding of most UX and UI tools. Producing creative solutions is only one part of being a fit within this team; you must have exceptional communication and presentation skills to explain your thinking and design strategy. All Interactive Creative Designers report to the Creative Director (Get to know him).


Primary Responsibilities:
An Interactive Creative Design has the following primary responsibilities:

  • Create strategic and innovative designs
  • Collaborate with the entire Creative Team, content creators and developers to produce the best possible solutions
  • Participate in client meetings and prospective project pitches
  • Coordinate with all teams within Spyder Trap to ensure best practices and efficiencies are being maximized
  • Keep track of your time and work progress on a daily basis
  • Follow the UX and Design Process for the department to ensure consistency
  • Communicate with project managers to ensure efficiency and accuracy on progress and status
  • Keep work on schedule and meet client timeline expectations
  • Proactively learn, adapt, research, teach and share both with the Creative Design Team and Spyder Trap as a whole

 

Skills and Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Interactive Design including responsive web design and mobile application design
  • 2+ years of experience in User Experience Design including wire framing, persona defining and creating user stories
  • Expert skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, CSS
  • Extremely good visual design skills and an online portfolio to back it up
  • Excellent communicator to internal teams and clients.
  • Pixel Perfect detail in your work
  • Collaborating and contributing with large teams
  • A solid understanding of best practices for both design and usability

The Account Executive will work with the Sales Team to identify and help develop strategic partnerships with new and existing clients by identifying new opportunities. This position will manage new online marketing opportunities from lead generation through project discovery/kickoff, and will work in conjunction with Project Managers to ensure that all projects are being completed on time, within budget, and that the project meets client expectations.

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education or demonstrated past success in comparable sales position
  • Experienced in consultative selling in the areas of SEO, PPC, local search, search analytics, and social media marketing and monitoring
  • Track record of achieving sales results
  • Problem solving skills, related to customer service & technical difficulties
  • 2 - 4 years of experience providing search/social marketing solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Involvement in networking groups and industry associations

Job Duties:

The ideal candidate will enjoy solving problems, taking on challenges and be able to work both in a team and individual environment.  The senior project manager will manage a project from kickoff to launch ensuring that all projects are being completed on time, within budget, and that the project meets client expectations.  This person works with a team and independently as they confidently manage a project from kickoff to launch.

Required skills and experience:

  • Five plus years of experience as a project manager in an agency setting
  • Previous client-facing experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Previous experience in online or digital
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills

Job duties will include:

  • Facilitate communication between internal project team members, and between project teams and clients
  • Facilitate project management team meetings as necessary
  • Coach, mentor, lead and support other team members
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) testing
  • Utilize and enforce proper usage of project management software and policy, procedure and process within
  • Assist with onboarding of new project management staff as applicable
