Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota along with the support of Carousel Automobiles and Maplewood Audi, will be hosting its 20th Annual golf tournament at the White Bear Yacht club on Monday, June 13th.The event supports the Family Needs Fund and the Pain and Palliative Care program at Children’s.

Mike Rynchek is excited to support these great programs as he represents Spyder Trap by participating in a foursome scramble team. Over the past 20 years, Children’s Hospitals Golf Benefit has raised over $1.4 million, supporting various Children’s projects.

This year the event will be celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary and has nearly 170 golfers registered.

Anyone who has ever faced an upcoming medical procedure knows the dark fear of uncertainty that precedes it.  By accessing any of the numerous specialized websites, blogs, chat rooms, and other social media, patients can now connect with caregivers and other patients in various stages of their respective treatment.  In doing so, patients learn from the experience of others what to expect.  This removes much of the uncertainty and reduces anxiety.
