Welcoming Four New Spyder Trappers to the TeamFebruary 03, 2017

We like to give credit where credit is due, and we’ll boast about our staff’s expertise often. That is why we’re thrilled to announce the addition of four new Spyder Trappers!

We’re always stoked to welcome a new Spyder Trapper into the fold. Our staff boasts some colorful characters and each addition adds to the vibrant culture we so love. As a group of work-hard, play-hard individuals, we’re always on the lookout for experts.

Despite having already put out the traditional introductory company-wide email and donning on their snazzy Spyder Trap sweatshirts, we asked our new Spyder Trappers to share a bit more of their background with us so that in turn, we could share it with you.

Marc Trimble – Digital Marketing Manager

1) Professional Background

Marc Trimble brings 20+ years of internet experience to the Spyder Trap Team. Over his career, he’s built more than 400 websites and helped non-profits and businesses achieve their online objectives utilizing all areas of digital marketing.  He has deep knowledge and experience in PPC, lead generation, social media marketing, SEO, analytics, email marketing and sales & marketing automation, online strategy, execution and measuring results.

“I was a Digital Marketing consultant for 15 years. During that time I had the opportunity to work with businesses and non-profits nationwide and build campaigns targeting global audiences. My passion lies in achieving outcomes utilizing the internet. I’ve been fortunate to work in the field for so long.”

2) What brought you to Spyder Trap? 

“I saw the opportunity to work with a talented team of experienced digital marketers and a diverse client base. Spyder Trap has the in-house talent and production engine in place to launch extremely powerful and successful digital marketing campaigns. I’m excited to be working with such an innovative and energized team.”

3) What are you hoping to accomplish at Spyder Trap within your new role? 

“My hope is to create stellar results for Spyder Trap clients. My role as Digital Marketing Manager encompasses the planning, implementation and execution of all digital marketing solutions. This involves working with PPC, conversion funnels, analytics, organic tactics, social media, email marketing, sales and marketing automation strategies, conversion optimization, SEO and more.”

4) Where’s your favorite place to hang out in Twin Cities? 

“I like the live music at Aster Café in Minneapolis.”

5) If you pick one skill or talent to instantly be good at, what would it be?

“Mind Reader.”

6) Tell us a super neat fact about yourself. 

“I can juggle? Is that “neat”?”

Andria-SCS

Andria Clark – Senior Client Strategist

1) Professional Background

Andria Clark is an experienced business executive that has a focus in healthcare. She brings 6+ years of experience working with various payor’s, providers and PBM’s. She is an innovator and has proven to help her clients execute on any level of projects. She is known for being authentic and a “connector”. She brings together the experts who solve her client’s challenges through digital marketing and technology.

2) What brought me to Spyder Trap?

“What brought me to Spyder Trap was a fellow Bennie. She had great things to say about Spyder Trap and I was immediately intrigued. I was looking for the next phase in my career and she insisted I meet Mike Rynchek! So, she introduced me to Mike and it was a great fit! I could immediately tell Mike was a down to earth leader, but also had a drive to grow in the digital market. I wanted to be a part of it and wanted to grow my professional background in digital.”

3) What are you hoping to accomplish at Spyder Trap within your new role? 

“My current role at Spyder Trap is to prospect, consult, advise and develop new opportunities with new and existing clients for online communications, search marketing, email marketing and social media. My goal is to build trusted relationships and help take Spyder Trap to the next level!”

4) Where’s your favorite place to hang out in Twin Cities?

“My favorite place in the Twin Cities to hang out is on Grand Avenue in St. Paul. I love grabbing lattes at Bread & Chocolate and having dinner at Salut Bar Americain.”

5) If you pick one skill or talent to instantly be good at, what would it be?

“Flying a plane.”

6) Tell us a super neat fact about yourself?

“I studied abroad in Australia and played on the University of Notre Dame Australian basketball team.”

Brian-SCS

Brian Karoff – Senior Client Strategist

1) Professional Background

Brian is a results driven executive with 10+ years of experience leading marketing and sales, operations and large scale projects in diverse and highly competitive markets. He has proven leadership experience and the ability to develop effective and measurable strategies to drive revenue growth, market share and expand brand awareness. He has accumulated an extensive portfolio of success from digital agencies and marketing companies.

2) What brought you to Spyder Trap?

“Spyder Trap’s incredible reputation and opportunity for growth.”

3) What are you hoping to accomplish at Spyder Trap within your new role? 

“My goal is to expand our strategic competencies through innovation and double sales.”

4) Where is your favorite place to hang out in Twin Cities?

“Shamrocks on West 7th in Saint Paul.”

5) If you could pick one skill or talent that you could instantly be good at, what would it be?

“To become completely accurate at predicting the future.”

6) Tell us a super neat fact about yourself?

“I know how to build an entire house.”

mekeon-intern

Mekeon Bragg – Marketing Intern

1) Background

Mekeon is currently a senior at Hopkins High School and is taking part in a class called ProPEL. The ProPEL class required her to find an internship that would teaching her professional skills in an area of interest.

2) What Brought You to Spyder Trap?

I found Spyder Trap when I was looking through a list of the best places to work in Minneapolis. When I came for an informational interview, I knew that Spyder Trap was the type of place where I wanted to work one day because of how inviting and genuine everyone was.

3) What are you hoping to accomplish at Spyder Trap within your new role? 

My current role at Spyder Trap is marketing intern. I hope to attain invaluable skills and learn more about the digital marketing industry. Getting firsthand experience is one of the best ways to learn, so this internship will significantly help me for my future career.

4) Where is your favorite place to hang-out in the Twin Cities?

The trail on Lake Calhoun in the summer.

5) If you could pick one skill or talent that you could instantly be good at, what would it be?

Become instantly good at any musical instrument!!!!

6) Super neat fact about yourself?

I started my own company when I was fourteen. It was the most incredible experience in my life.
