Required skills and experience:

  • 4+ years experience
  • HTML5/CSS expertise
  • JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Prototype, etc.)
  • Proficient in PHP, OOP/MVC
  • Experience with PHP Framework (Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc)
  • LAMP server administration experience
  • SQL expertise (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Strong familiarity with Git or other VCS
  • Experience with database administration

Job duties will include:

  • Developing web and mobile applications
  • Writing server-side processing/parsing scripts
  • Maintaining APIs and existing applications
  • Database schema design and implementation
  • Integration of 3rd party platforms and applications
  • Collaboration with development and internal business teams
  • Learning, adapting, researching, teaching, sharing 24/7

Account Strategist

Account Strategist

The Account Strategist will work with the sales team to identify and help develop strategic partnerships with new and existing clients by identifying new opportunities. This position will manage new online marketing opportunities from lead generation through project discovery/kickoff, and will work in conjunction with Project Managers to ensure that all projects are being completed on time, within budget, and that the project meets client expectations. The Account Strategist will report directly to the Director of Client Strategy.

Outline of duties:

  • Identify, pitch, and close new business accounts
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales goals
  • Create project proposals and client pitches
  • Consult, advise, and develop new opportunities with potential and existing clients for online communication, search marketing, email marketing and social media
  • Create and propose digital marketing recommendations that best suit clients’ needs strategically and tactically
  • Work with internal teams to develop detailed proposals and other sales-related presentations as needed
  • Be actively involved in industry events, associations, educational events, social media, and business networking opportunities
  • Assist other sales team members with developing team and individual sales strategies and lead generation approaches
  • Set and manage client expectations
  • Seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Build a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives
  • Continue to deepen own understanding of core technical areas of company
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements
  • Assist in strategy, forecasting, and planning of business accounts and projects within managed accounts
  • Develop digital and mobile solutions to drive profitable opportunities with clients by offering multiple solutions to achieve targeted revenues
  • Assist with other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
